Ash Lumber

Ash Lumber

Ash (Fraxinus Americana) is a medium to large size tree that originated in North America. Ash wood has sapwood with a whitish color and heartwood with a grayish brown tint. Ash wood is generally straight grained and coarse, but with a smooth texture. Ash lumber is stiff and hard with a relatively light weight.

Common uses for Ash lumber are cabinet making, furniture, baseball bats, oars, tool handles, paneling, and plywood. Cook Lumber Company recommends Ash lumber for any project that requires a very strong but elastic wood.

Cook Lumber Company has the capabilities to provide large quantities of Ash lumber to companies worldwide while complying with all national and international lumber laws.
